Hi Sarah,
I chanced upon u're blog while searching the web for some good mallu recipes. You have some really yummy recipes out here!! I am relatively new to cooking and would be glad if you can tell me what is "thin" & "thick" coconut milk?
Hey Reena...
Good to see u here...
What i meant by thin and thick coconut milk is "onnam pal and randam paal" as we say back home..
if u are using canned coconut milk ,To make thin coocnut milk, take 3 tsps of coocnut milk and add 1 cup water to it. and for thick coconut milk , you can either use the canned one as it is or mix equal amount of coconut milk and water or even half water. that purely depends on ur choice...
and if you are using coocnut milk powder, use the same proportion. This is certainly a rough prop; i use in my kitchen :)
aashamsakal..........,
Thanks Sarah..will definitely try u're recipes! I have book marked u're blog :-)!
Hey Sarah..I tried this vegetable stew recipe..I really loved it..I've put a picture in my blog....
