Thai Fried Mango Chicken - My version

Ingredients:-
Chicken - 1/2 kg
Ginger - garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
Mango pulp - 1 cup
Corn flour - 3 - 4 tsp
Soy sauce - 2 1/2 tsp
Fish sauce(optional)- 1/2  tsp
Chilli sauce - 1 tsp
Oil
Salt to taste
Scallions and onion for garnishing


Method:-
Clean and cut the chicken in medium size pieces , pat dry
In a bowl combine mango pulp, corn flour,Soy sauce, fish sauce( i dint use this), chili sauce, ginger -garlic paste and  salt (if needed), to make a paste.
Marinate chicken pieces in this paste and keep aside for 15 minutes
Heat oil in  a pan and deep fry this chicken pieces, until it is cooked through
Drain on paper towels, garnish with chopped onions and scallions .
Serve warm

This recipe looks wonderful. Did you make your own mango pulp did you use one from a can? Will it be too sweet if I use the canned mango pulp?

Hey Anon,
I used the canned mango pulp ;)...the sweetness depends on the chilli sauce you use..If it is strong then it will balance the sweetness of the mango..and i tell you the dish itself is a bit sweet :)

and be careful , sometimes it splutters , if it has too much water content in it ;)
