Erica October 4, 2009 9:03 PM

Sardines are popular in Colombia, but just eat them with plain white rice. This sounds great!

Abhilash October 5, 2009 1:30 AM

It has been too long since I had mathi.
I ate it several times from my grandmothers house. She prepares it well.

I like it when curd, ulli theeyal, manga achar, chamandi podi and pappadam are there to help it find the way to my stomach.

Your version of Mathi curry looks good. Nicely garnished. Can smell it from here. I received that miracullous gift recently :)

The recipe looks simple but I consider that taste in comparison to the older citizens and cooks will be possible after years of experience in this domain and prep.

mm... I miss my home. I will visit my grandmother this third saturday and have mathi curry. Let me call her and tell to prepare it.

Might be I can print and give your version of prepration to my cousin. I normally get a single sunday to prepare what I need and yesterday was payasam :)
